Delete Account
Permanently delete your Vesile account and data.
Warning: this action cannot be undone.
When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel it in your store account settings.
How can you delete your account?
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open the Vesile app and sign in to your account.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the Settings (gear icon) button.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete Account”.
- Tap “Yes, Delete My Account” in the confirmation dialog.
Deletion in the app takes effect immediately.
Request deletion by e-mail
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion of your account by sending an e-mail with the following information:
- Your registered phone number
- Your display name
- Subject: “Account Deletion Request”
Data that is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Profile information: name, phone number, birth date, photos
- Survey data: all your personality survey answers
- Psychometric profile: your personality scores and compatibility data
- Matches: your whole match history, conversations and meetings
- Notifications and preferences: all your notification settings
- Media files: photos, voice introduction, voice messages and the verification selfie you uploaded
Data retention
- Processing time: deletion in the app is immediate; e-mail requests are processed within 30 days at the latest.
- Legal retention: due to legal requirements some transaction records may be kept in anonymised form for up to 6 months. These records contain no personal information.
- Sanctioned accounts: if a suspended or frozen account is deleted, only a keyed digest of your phone number is kept and sign-in with that number is refused: with no end after a ban, until the freeze ends after a freeze. Details are in the Privacy policy.
- Backups: your data in system backups is deleted automatically when the backup cycle completes (90 days at most).
